About the Round the World Track

a “PHOTOGENX ROUND THE WORLD” is the adventure of a lifetime!

Imagine:

- learning and shooting photography in every continent of the planet in places as diverse as Hawaii to the Sahara to the Amazon;

- studying the Bible on the back of a camel or on a boat through the Middle East and Turkey;

- studying world culture not out of books but in the nations themselves;

- using your camera as a weapon to defeat injustice and oppression;

- using your camera to change the course of history;
- serving the neediest and the poorest through your art.

This all becomes possible with “photogenX round the world”! Starting off in Kona, Hawaii, you join a community of photographers, who will travel to almost every continent on the planet. At the same time you will study photography, the Bible and world view.

When “photogenX round the world” returns to Kona, Hawaii, you will learn how to turn raw data into publications and other communication tools that will make a difference in the world. After the photography communication school, you will again travel, distributing your productions.

At the end of this adventure, you will:

* have a professional grasp on photography;
* have a portfolio from every continent on the planet (except for Antarctica);
* have work published in a photogenX publication;
* know how to take images from raw data to publication;
* know how to distribute a publication;
* have a deeper understanding of discipleship, the Bible, world culture and world view;
* have a whole lot of friends around the world!

Price

The price is estimated on a monthly basis, but paid quarterly.

$1,250/month (approx.)

This price includes tuition, travel, accommodations, food, school materials and outreach.
